Till now, none of the significant research have been conducted on youth issues, neither documentation nor literature regarding youths of Nepal exists. In order to promote the use of applied participatory research in youth development in order to contribute to the creation of a body of knowledge AfP Nepal will exclusively engage in research undertakings, collect, documentation and disseminate information for youth related issues.

The aspiration for youth-led research and documentation in the context of linking youth and community development should be to shift and heal the relationships between youth and adults, to foster the growth of young people and community members as community stewards, and to support the ongoing development of sustainable and just communities.
